Technical question regarding 2k game saves

    Hi,

I am not so computer savvy, and I would like some assistance regarding the PC version of MLB 2K12.

Here is the situation...We have two computers and they are in a "wireless network". What I am planning to do, is to install MLB 2K12 on both computers.

How can I make it so that I continue my progress in Franchise, My Player, and Season modes on BOTH computers? I really don't want two separate modes.

I know that "Public Files" are shared files with both computers. Should I install MLB 2K12 in that section?

Is this even possible if there are two different "display settings" (one is a tv, the other is a normal monitor). I did try it before with 2K11, by just copying the save file and putting it in the other computer, but it did not work and all I got was a blank screen...Haven't been able to figure that one out. That is why I mentioned about the monitor's display setting being different.

Well, if you knowledgable people have an answer, it would be much appreciated

    Thanks

You should really go to anandtech or tomshardware to ask this question in their forums. This is more of a Windows networking question. You'll probably find someone over there with an idea.

All franchise, roster, settings save files are located in your User / App Data / Roaming / 2K Sports / Saves folder. Simply transfer the files inside the Saves folder from one PC to the other. That's it, simple as Swedish pie. I do it all the time with my two PCs. Why you would be having problems is odd to say the least. Are you transferring ALL the files in your Saves folder? Because more than one of those files is linked to your current franchise save, so it's best to simply transfer all files inside.

my friend did this last year using a tutorial he found on google about just streaming the save files between the 2 computers and installing it individually on each. definitely possible, and having to different kind of displays (tv, monitor) wont affect it at all.
