Btw, this has no affect on anything, but gray, cloudy day games are the BEST in this title. No one does cloudy skies like 2k. Really adds to the immersion.
Yup 360. I love the MLB today/NBA Today concepts in sports games.

Unfortunately no. I got it from an online site that was offering it for $39.
Now I'll have to buy it again, haha. But I'm DYING right now! My kids aren't using the 360 right now and my wife is watching some dumb Kardashian show. ARGH! I want to play 2K12 so bad right now!!!

        agreed.
the skies in this game are out of this world, as well as the lighting model.
i remember the blog from 10 mentioning the way they went about doing lighting upgrades and wow is it impressive.

The game is solid BK. The show is the better game for sure, but you'll like this one as a change of pace

That's exactly what I Am looking for. A fun change of pace.. MLB Today/MLB Today Season Mode are the kinds of things I think should be in any sports game

              Re: MLB 2k12 - Impressions Thread (PS3/X360)

Played 1 game of MLB Today Season Angels vs. Yanks using MkHarsh's sliders.

              Some quick impressions.

              - MLB Today Season is a great concept. I've been waiting for ths for a long time. It would be cool, if you could play games from earlier in the year with the right lineups and uni's etc. Stlll, really cool mode.

-Color Pallette? What's up with it? Uniform colors seem way way off? More so than past years, or is it my imagination?

-Stadiums look pretty good. Played pretty smooth. Not Show smooth, but much smoother in the past, and easily good enough for a good game play experience.

              - Animations seem to be a mixed bag. Some are much much better than previous versions, particularly around the infield. Some still look terrible. Still improved imo. Definitely better than before.

-Player Models. I know some people like them, I hate them. To me they look awful. Personal preference I guess. Doesn't really take away from the game, but damn they are ugly.

-Overall I'd say my first experience with this version is positive. Love the new game mode. Some animation improvements. Still graphically ugly though. Solid game. If I were a 360 only user, I'd be ok with this being my only game. On a 1-10 scale I give it a solid 7.

BK I highly recommend franchise mode. It is beyond deep. It doesn't have things like arbitration and rule 5, but what the player card offers makes those things like toys.

                  Colors are terrible indeed.

Without question. Boggles my mind why other games haven't done it.

I'm hoping NBA 2K13 adds NBA Today Season Mode. I'd play the heck out of that.

Yup. I love the game and it's really the only reason I've turned my Xbox on in months (aside from my kids using it), but they really need to work on the colour palette.
If the game looked as good as The Show, I'd really have no complaints with 2K12 whatsoever.

Could you expand on the Player Card? I'm not familiar with it in 2K.

I'm very tempted to pick this game back up.

It makes the Show's franchise mode look like 162 exhibition games. As great as that game is on the field, if the people who play it for franchise mode sunk their teeth into 2k's franchise mode they would be flabbergasted.
