I just checked. Polo Grounds is still there. In addition to the MLB stadiums, there is the "All-Star Stadium 2012" as well as AAA Central East South West and AA Central East South. Also City park, Metro Stadium, Municipal Field and a couple of spring training facilities.

Thank you. Thought they might change it this year, thank god they didn't. My grandfather worked there as a boy and his dad was the head of Food and venders there, so it is special to me that 2k has put it in there the past few years. I have so much stuff from there, like old photos, paintings, and memorobilia, and it just gives me a weird nostalgic feeling of my Grandfather when I see it, sort of like a personal source of pride.

Hey guys and girls I just had a question about MLB 2K12 and was hoping someone on here could answer it. When you're editing a roster, how do you change a players position, like the newest update has Adrian Gonzalez listed as a RF and I want to put him back to a 1B. I've noticed people who upload their own rosters have changed positions. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks have a nice day!

Really could use some help. Doing an offline franchise with my friend, so two user controlled teams, we take turns playing our games. But whenever we have a game at the same time (like 1:10 PM), when either of us click on our game to play, it sims the other persons game. Is there ANY way to avoid this!? It ruins the the whole thing.

If my game is at 1:10 and his at 1:15, if he were to start first it would sim mine, makes sense. We just can't figure out how to avoid simming each others games.

Just a quick question, on the PC version of the game can you upload your own pictures for rookies who just have the generic face, for instance can you put a picture of bryce harper or will middlebrooks or yoenis cespedes into the game, or are we just stuck with the fake generics?

The following question has MLB 2k modders mystified:
What file are the base coaches contained in?
Unlike the NBA, MLB base coaches are assigned names and numbers. They are also automatically assigned whatever uniform is selected prior to the start of the game. So where is this file? So that we can re-assign real coach names and numbers to their respected teams.
We know that the team name for the jacket is #3 on the uni iff. And the shoulder texture for the team jacket is 19 on the uni iff but the base coach name/number assignments remain a mystery.

I just started a new franchise, 3 games in. WHen I go to look at the stats it says that Andrew McCutchen has 0 games played 0 hits 0 RBI ect. All the other statistics for the other players are off also.

Is there a way to fix this?

some teams start before others. I started an orioles association and I started around the 7th of April, I don't remember the exact date though but it was after opening day around most of the league.

with my player, im trying to wear both the plastic elbow pad with the sleeve under it.

how do u do it? i noticed they have it for Derek Jeter...or is it just only for him

So I was playing in franchise mode and Chris Carpenter randomly went down to the minors, and I don't know how to call him up. Does anyone know how?

Hey guys, I got an injury in my dynasty to Escobar and he was sent down for rehab stint but AAA was done their season, and now its my playoffs, and I cant call up Escobar. This is a bug, and would anyone know how to get past this so I can have my SS for the playoffs?

I actually have run into the same problem in my Franchise with Albert Pujols. I'm in late September so I'm going to wait and see if the game could read 5 games as 5 days. However, I created another save file and tried this out, and it does work:

Just release the player. You obviously will have to take a cap hit (since I'm so late in mine, I only needed to eat 148k, but it was going to be 2.4 million for the next 9 years.) Then sign him again. His stats will still be slightly decreased like he is on his rehab stint though, and I haven't checked if after 5 games his stats go back to normal.

It could also be beneficial because you can sign him slightly lower than you could be paying him in future years. (aka, with pujols, my salary and cap hit totaled to like 11.7-12/year where i would be paying him 12.6 on his current contract for 2013, not to mention if I get later and his contract goes all the way up to 20/yr.

I have a question, in my player I'm a starting pitcher and I already have 5 pitches, is it possible to switch some of them for other pitches?
