re: MLB 2K12 - PC Impressions

I currently do not own an MLB game so was wondering whether I should pick up 2k11 on steam for £7.49 or should I download MLB 2k12 for $29.00. Unfortunatly in the UK only Gamestop will sell me a digital copy of 2k12.

So which would you recommend, I am sure that my PC can handle both. Are the changes from 11 to 12 significant enough to justify getting 12?

I know this may be a stupid question but I'm asking anyways..
I'm assuming you can print rosters, lineups etc Correct?
If so I'll be grabbing the PC version and maybe get into some online games also.

And also when/if MODS are available I'm assuming (doing a lot of assuming I know) that they will all be at Moddingway....Right?

Mods are at MVPMods in the download section...Donate to get unlimited downloads....it's worth it...

Moddingway only gets a small portion. Right now they got around 3 to 5 total on Moddingway and over 25 on MVPMods...

I even added player CF's into the game and they got a free roster editor.....

so far I have around 25 Cyberfaces, 2 Arenas and about 10 Jersey mods...Plus some of the players that had generic faces have real ones now to match their photos.

I've never understood how to use the faces or portrait mods.

Many of the modded face files only need to be copied and pasted into the main 2K game folder. Others require that you also use Ty Wiggin's roster editor to change the face ID number, a simple process which takes 2-3 seconds.

I've never seen any feature in the PC version that allows that. What you see in the console version is what you get with the PC version. Maybe one of the roster editors -- if and when they're released -- will have that feature, but that would be about it I believe.

Is there a way to hide the mouse cursor during gameplay? I can usually stuff in on the right side of the screen which hides it, but if i bump the desk and the mouse moves, it comes back on the screen!

Cant you just unplug it or turn off if wireless? Or do you need it during the game at some point?

You might be able to with the roster editor. Honestly not sure of that, though.

I use Ty Wiggin's 2K11 roster editor. There's no export function on it like there is with some PES editors and the like. It's strickly for editing the roster you're using, and that's it.
