Hitting vs pitching

Last year's game, 2K11, seemed to be a pitching favored game and it was harder to hit. I dominated pitching and stuck hitting.

This year's game so far seems the complete opposite. I dominate hitting and can pitch to save my life. Guys are hitting HR's off pitches I pitch way outside the strike zone even.

anyone agree, disagree?

im usally a great pitch though but for a more pitching type this doesnt sound good

Im loving the pitching. Doing decent hitting not hitting good with power swing most of my hits are contact. Overall liking the online versus, not having any lag porblems.

For 2K12 it's too early for me to tell. My experience with 2k11 was different than yours though it seems. On All-Star, my pitching would get pounded but offensively I had the highest avg and slugging percentage in the league (though homeruns were infrequent for me both on offense and defense).

I've played two franchise games in 2k12 so far and got 9 hits each time. Although I lost both games, they were more "pitcher's duels" than anything so I kind of left with the impression that pitching is easier (maybe due to the new statistics).

I'm a very bad hitter anyways. For me I find I'm better at Pitching and fail at Scoring and Getting Runners In
