Need some help with breakpoint pitching and pitching in general...

Picked the game up today and I'm enjoying it very much so far. Problem is, I haven't played the 2K series in many years and obviously a lot has changed since then. Any help would be appreciated with a few questions. Thanks.

Where can I find the current pitcher's fatigue/energy level?
How do I go back/cancel a pitch selection to choose another one?
How does the expanding circle work? When it turns red is the pitch at max power?
Do I have to hold the right analog stick for the second motion the entire time?

My first couple of games I ended up throwing a lot of wild pitches, overthrowing, etc. Also I couldn't get my fastballs above 88 mph(even with Strasburg, I play as the Nationals.

The game forgoes a traditional energy "bar" for pitch counts. You can view pitch counts at any time by hitting start (pitching or hitting). It also automatically shows up after a certain amount of pitches has been reached.

How do I go back/cancel a pitch selection to choose another one?

It's one of the face buttons, "B" on Xbox.

How does the expanding circle work? When it turns red is the pitch at max power?

You want to time it so the circle is full. If it's too small or too large the pitch won't be as powerful. When you get a "max" notification you know you've timed it perfectly (which is hard to do).

Do I have to hold the right analog stick for the second motion the entire time?

No. Try doing the first part of the motion until the circle is full, then complete the gesture.

          Will do.

Also, what's the difference for the pitch accuracy option? There is breakpoint and pinpoint. I've tried both and I don't see what the difference is.

Oops. One more thing, what does the batter's eye option do?

          Many thanks once again.

breakpoint for a fastball or something straight wont be any different than pinpoint. for something like a curveball though the pinpoint is where the pitch will end up, and break point is where the pitch is gonna break in its direction

and the batter's eye is the little black circle that comes up when your at bat to try and guess where a pitch is gonna be located. not to be confused with the hitter's eye which is the blue border around the strike zone when batting
