2K12 PC My Player Game Length

I'm having a problem with My Player mode. When I started it, I was playing full 9 inning games, but after playing a 3 inning exhibition mode game my My Player games are limited to 3 innings. I've changed the exhibition mode innings length back to 9 innings but it doesn't seem to help. This sucks since I can't get any skill points when I get just one or (if I'm lucky) two at-bats and sometimes don't even see the ball in the field. Is there a fix for this, or do I have to start over or something? I'm only about a week into my season so starting over wouldn't be much of a set back.

I have a solution for you. Set it back to 9 innings in settings then go and play an exhibition game and quit as soon as it begins properly. Play one My Player game (will be 3 innings) and the next game will then be 9 innings and all subsequent games.

I did not play exhibition game it just started playing 6 innings in my player. My game settings for innings is 9 and I tried the exhibition game then back to my player but still stuck in 6 innings. Any other advice?
