Re: PC: Specs, Settings & Performance

I am not computer savvy, but I know my Ram is 4gb, my computer is a quad core that is about 2 years old. My father bought a new computer a few months ago, and rather then him let it sit, I went over and grabbed his old one. I threw a GeForce GT 545 1Gb Video card into it.

I have every detail on High, and the MSAA on the highest, with MSAA Quality on the highest. Resolution 1920x 1080.

Benchmark : 62 FPS. If I turn MSAA off I get 77 FPS, and if I drop the Resolution down to one lower I get 80 FPS.

But the MSAA really smoothed out the edges and looks so much better to me with it on, so I like the 62 FPS so far. The only time it seems to seem unsmooth is on some of the throws. THe ball looks a bit odd. I havn't played a full game though, only a few innings.

I was going to say 40 fps would probably be fine for me. I've never done super high performance gaming, so I wouldn't know how awful it is compared to 150 fps.

                  I have an i7-2600K @ 3.40 GHz
                  with 8 GB of RAM

                  Using Windows 7 64-bit

Also using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570

Neither the processor nor videocard are overclocked.

I have every graphics setting on 2k12 maxxed out (EVERYTHING) to it's highest setting.

When I benchmarked, I got a score of 167 fps.

                  Consider myself thrilled.
