    Stinker at the Sinker

I am talking about the pitch.

I have tried to throw it with TCP with a lot of pitchers who have it and almost all the time the pitch ends up the other side where I aimed.

Using pinpoint because I am lazy like that and when I aim a sinker under the plate and do the correct motion it either eats dirt or jumps far into the strikezone.

I think the motion itself is just a bit too tricky for my taste, I am not used to make diagonal motions on a stick and it hurts me badly when playing as a pitcher whose main pitch is the Sinker.

Any tips for me? I really want to become effective with the S(t)inker instead of having it doing silly things for me.

Sometimes with TCP I find I do a mirror image of what they want for whatever reason. Are you doing that? FYI The sinker has similar action a 2-seamer on the game, but it breaks at a different angle and somehow accelerates when you're hitting.

Nope the Sinker is a full diagonal motion from low left/right to high left/right dependant on the throwing arm. It's just my thumb tends to be a little jumpy with that kind of motion. I have a much easier time throwing Knuck's than Sinkers.

Playing in My Player I have decided to just never even look at a Sinker because it's just too damn hard for me to throw it.

The Knuck on my Submarine pitching starter is deadly as most hitters either lay off it all together or swing way too early. It's almost a Looney Tunes style pitch and it's a great 0-2 pitch to piss off batters.

I am only wondering if others have problems with the stick motion for the Sinker because I just fear having to throw with Sinker pitchers because it will be too erratic to be effective.

I've had trouble throwing that too haha, glad i'm not the only one. The thing i've been doing is turning the controller a lil bit in my hand so that the diagonal motion, becomes a straight up and down motion.

Turn Pitch Gesture Feedback on for every pitch and you'll see what you're doing wrong. Just keep working on it and you'll eventually get used to doing it correctly. I used to be the same way with sinkers, now I have the occasional bad one, but can still have them go where I want them now.

I'm pretty bad with sinkers as well, which cripples me with Charlie Morton to the point where I'm considering trading him. The Yanks are offering Nova for Morton straight up, and I'm highly interested...

I find the Sinker quite easy to use, actually. I always use it with My Player Pitcher.

The hardest pitch for me to throw mis the Slider. I cannot through it at ALL!

One of the things I LOVE about 2k is that you can have trouble throwing a pitch. Not placing it, but THROWING it.
                lol

i hate the low left and up and around motion.

i actually do the exact opposite (after trying this method before) and found that i was doing a straight line just a little more up and down then left and right. i turn the controller a little clockwise so the diagonal motion matches.

i do more of a 7 to 1 oclock movement when it should be more of a 7:30 to 1:30 which messes me up
