    I suck at MLB 2K12

I'm just getting into baseball this year and I rented MLB 2k12. I have played like 3 full games and I just can't seem to score. I can get guys on first to second base but then either a double play happens or i just strikeout. also i found that when i use power hitters like Miguel Cabera or Prince Fielder that I cannot seem to hit homeruns with them despite using both the Contact and Power swing. Please help! Thanks!

I would go into, Options>My Controller>Controller Setup>and at the bottom of "Batting", change your hitting(that is the one you control with the RB and LB buttons) to classic hitting. And you will swing with the "A" button.(assuming you have xbox).
Then, go into Options>Difficulty Sliders>and either lower the difficulty, or raise your contact and power by one or two clicks. Then go to CPU Pitching, and lower the CPU Pitch Speed by one or two clicks.
You should be able to see the ball better and then be able to hit it.

Change your sliders to easier settings.

if you have some power hitters in your lineup up your power slider to 65 or 70 and only use contact swing. once you get the timing right you will start hitting a few HR's and scoring some runs. Once it gets too easy lower the power accordingly.
        Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.
