I play every game of 162 game season. If it is a franchise that is worth playing, then there is no need for me to buy the game the following year. I don't need all the bells and whistles every year. If I get a good title, and it plays realistic, then I am golden, and will ride that bad boy till the wheels fall off. I played MVP 05' for 5 years.

Doesn't matter anymore. This is the last version.

I have this dream that someday I'm going to buy a certain baseball game and it will forever be my last. Right now it just may be MLB 2k12 with my Padres franchise. The fact many expect 2k-baseball to be done for is actually a good thing in my book.

I'm not grokking what you're getting at here and can't even begin to figure out what you mean by that statement. Why would it be a good thing that many expect that?

Because then someone else besides 2K would be making a baseball game?

It's because in this dream I won't have to buy a new game and can just keep playing this one.

              Like I said though, it's a dream.

Play every 6th game. 27 games a year. Every start is with a different pitcher so it gives you variety, and it also keeps you from weighting the stats too heavily in one direction. For example, for some reason I rake with Luke Scott in my Orioles Franchise in 2K11, yet he only has 11 HRs for the year and is hitting .280.

It also puts more emphasis on acquiring depth and solid players to fill out your roster and rotation.

You can complete a season every two weeks if you play often enough. However, if you're old and have responsibilities that get in the away of gaming like me, it will take a bit longer

I play a 104 game season. I'll end up playing ~80 games out of the season. I wanted to play a majority of my games, but not having it drag out. It works out to a 2 game series for each team. Nice and quick.
