Pitcher not getting saves in a save situation

I have had two instances where my closer is not getting a save in a save situation. Each time I enter the ninth inning with the score tied. I score one run in the top on the inning and then bring my closer in for the bottom of the ninth. He will not allow a run and finish the game. The box score will not show this as a save or a blown save.

Instead of giving me the save it gives me a blown save in my team stats. The blown save is not showing up in my player stats for that pitcher. In fact, none of my pitchers have a blown save in player stats.

Has this happened to any of you? Is this a glitch that 2k is aware of?
