I do not know if they play ALL realistically, but somehow they play at least different. If I am not misleading somehow the wind factor has to do with it? When you look at the waving banners in some stadiums they seem to stand still, others wave in the direction of the batter, others in direction of the pitcher, etc. But I do not know if this is influencing the game or it is only an animation. But sometimes when you hit a ball you see that it will make strange changes of direction in the air (ball trail on) and that could normally only be caused by wind I assume.

Yeah. I think this game is subtly more realistic than people realize.

Yap, a big amount of this game is quite realistic. But the problem is that the little amount of this game that is unrealistic hurts the realism more than everything.

Is anyone having trouble pulling pitches out with Lefties? In all the games I've played, Bryan LaHair and Michael Rizzo have nothing but oppo shots. Lefties seem to be able to pull it for singles and doubles but no long balls.

Try moving the left joystick to the right when you hit.

Except for that awful play where the 2B or SS hold the ball while a runner who is between 2nd & 3rd continue around to home without any throw what-so ever. I have no idea why the runner would go past 3rd with an IF holding the ball and even less of an idea why the IF would hold the ball after the runner rounds 3rd.
