Heh, a wise decision. I don't play sports games certain ways, depending on what in the game works for me and what doesn't. I don't for example pitch and field in MLB 2K, only hit. And I only play single games and post-season mode. That way I don't have to look at the awful User fielding animations or deal with all the many fielding glitches. Nor do I have to put up with the comeback logic. Or the ridiculous, idiotic, and completely inane hot/cold streak programming -- can you tell I hate that sort of thing in particular in these sports games?

I simply would like to know why the companies always think that they have to implement massive changes and detailed new things into their games. Those things never work properly when they are implemented. They rather hurt the games more than they create additional fun. Keep it simple would be my advice, but well. It seems that more people are satisfied with what they get than those that are not happy. It also seems that the majority isn't looking to deep into games. At least not as deep as a few do.
