What do you guys find is the best player type to start off as and why? Also what is a good difficulty so that hitting is not to hard but relastic? Also so far in this game I do not have trouble getting base hits but almost all of my hits are right back up the middle as I can never put the ball into the gap or down the line for extra bases. I use total control hitting and Im wondering if I should be using the left stick to aim or something. Also is there any mods out there for the minor league stadiums they are so boring after about 5 games. Thanks in advance.

Definitely use the left stick to aim. Poke something outside the other way has led to a lot of doubles for me. And well pulling a pitch inside has led to home runs. I became much better at hitting once i started using the left stick. -

I made my guy a contact hitter, I feel like this is the best because you will at least get 1 hit a game. And you wont strike out much, The only problem is you have to really raise your power and speed. But that can be done without much difficulty. As for difficulty I play on the default pro setting. It isn't that hard but there is a good challenge when you go up against good pitchers.
