My Player Closer Game Crash (PC version)

Unless there's a fix I have to start a whole new My Player career now.

I got called up to AAA from AA and the season is over. The only thing left to do is the last Workout Session or whatever it's called. It falls directly on the same day as the first Minor League Playoff game. The game brings up the playoff tree and asks if I want to sim through it. I select yes since my team isn't in it. It then asks which workout I want to do. No matter which I select it shows the point values and whatnot and tells me to hit A. When I do the game instantly crashes back to Desktop. I've tried skipping the Workout thing and it won't let me.

Now I guess I'll try being a Starting Pitcher and hope this doesn't happen again.

Have you tried cursing out loud? Won't actaully fix anything, but it's helped me deal with 2K's ever-present bugs, glitches and freeze issues over the years.

Been doing a lot of that playing this game, mainly because it all seems so predetermined. I do have fun in the end, just have to accept the flaws and try to enjoy it. I just wish there wasn't a game killer bug like the one I'm experiencing.

I'm on the PC as well. I save copies and copies of any save files, in case something goes wrong with the one I'm currently using. Then I simply copy and paste an earlier save file into the Saves folder and continue on. I've got an MLB 2K file folder stashed away with probably 100 different save files in it right now, lol.
