Why does the CPU starting Pitcher never get tired?

Played a game last night between Indians and Rangers, and Colby Lewis gave up 11 hits and 7 runs with a pitch count of 98 and pitched a complete game. How can you make starting pitchers get tired more frequently?

98 pitches isn't a lot......

Being kept in to give up 7 runs is interesting however, since the game tends to pull starters if they start giving up 5+ runs.

Unless they were spaced out, or it was a close game. But 98 pitches is a low pitch count, be more patient at the plate. I aim for 15-20 pitches per inning.

The computer pulled CJ wilson in the 8th inning after throwing 102 pitches. I was only winning 2-1.
