    Double switch problem

so when im playen with national league teams, i usually pinch hit for a relief pitcher late in the game. Whenever i try to do a double switch it puts my PH in the defensive spot, but then the new pitcher I bring in takes bat wherever the defensive player i subbed out did.

For example say i have James Russel pitching, i Pinch hit Tony Campana for him. than after the half inning i bring in Carlos Marmol and Campana for Soriano who was batting 5th. The game would than make Marmol bat 5th.

Any way to fix this or is it just glitched?

Uhm, that's not a glitch, that's how double switching works...

When you double switch, you're leaving the player you brought in as a pinch hitter in the game, so he remains in the number 9, and you're subbing in a new pitcher and they're taking the spot of whoever they were subbed for.

Ex: Say the Marlins had Hanley on the bench that day, and had somebody else playing 3rd. You pinch hit for him, and then you want to double switch him in for the guy who played 3rd that day, perhaps batting 7th. With the switch, Hanley would bat 9th, and play 3b, and the new pitcher would pitch, and take over the number 7 spot, because he was technically a sub for that player.
