Will Middlebrooks with wrong name on new Roster.

2K I hope your reading this, you Name Will Middlebrooks incorrectly, you gave him some name. Please Re-Update the Rosters and NAME HIM Will Middlebrooks. Is it that hard to spell a name? The name you gave him isn't even close.

it was probably sent in before his appearance. Remember...the updates have to be approved by a 3rd party...so when he was called up they couldn't give him the real name because he had yet to appear in a game and was just called up.

Not saying this is what happened...but it's what COULD of happened.

That IS probably what happened. This was the case last year, this will be the case this year. There are always several "fake players", that get updated afterwards.

I just went in an edited the player 2K had in and changed his name to Middlebrooks. I know it won't show up for MLB TODAY games but it works for any other mode. His stats are correct, like age and batting.

His fake name is Wilson Moore, just change it.

It may be because he isn't in the players union. Usually they can't be in the game before they agree that MLB can put there name in here.

I really wish the mods could implement an insta-ban or just automatically lock the thread when anyone that complains about the wrong name in a roster. This has been discussed a million times and people don't read the forums or use the search function. Like seriously, enough is enough. We don't need a new discussion topic about this every time a roster update is released.

Agreed, I'm sick of seeing 50 million "player X isn't named right!!!! ZOMG! 2k suckzzzzzz"

For the last time people, if 2k sucks so much (this goes for all the other trolls who rampantly spew hatred and nonsense about this game as well) don't buy the game and stop ruining the forum for people who actually are objective and see this year's game is much better than year's past. Or just download an accurate roster in this case! Stop whining and use the search function before you create a separate thread (actually, there's a thread about Bryce Harper not even a week old that already explains this, you don't even have to search to see it!)
