no injuries in my player?

let me first start off by saying im a long time lurker and just recently signed up (today) as i couldnt find my answer in any previous thread.


i am halfway through my first season as a pitcher for the cleveland indians on my player in MLB 2k12. I noticed that there are no injuries to anyone in the whole league. i checked my settings and there isnt even an option to turn on or off injuries just an option to turn on injury notifications. i wanted this to be as real as it can be. is there no injuries on the my player mode? or is the whole league just lucky and not have any injured players? any help would be appreciated. thanks!

i noticed that too, also in nba 2k12. I never got injured. 2k, come on.

yeah, I haven't missed an inning in the field in three-plus seasons. If it wasn't for the 15-year limit on your career, I'd break Cal Ripken Jr's consecutive games played record easily.

Kinda lame, if I do say so.

this stinks! there are absolutly no injuries. not just for my player. i wished there were injuries as to make it more realistic.

So people want to sit out of games and not play them? For what purpose? There's realism in video games, and then there's just plain boring and pointless. With that in mind I can kind of understand why they didn't include injuries to your player. But no injuries to anyone in the league is a different issue altogether, that's a problem. Is there an injury setting in franchise? Maybe try turning on that option, perhaps it somehow affects my player mode as well.
