Framerate slowdown with runners on base

Im playing 2k12 on the ps3 and I don't know if it has to do with the stadium I'm playing in or what but in some games with runners on base there is framerate slowdown and choppiness when pitching and hitting. Does anyone know a solution for this or is it something I just need to get used to. Damn, 2k makes some fun games but it seems like a lot of them have framerate problems.

Avoid playing in Atlanta and Miami online......players have claimed to have workarounds, but I've yet to see any of them work consistently.

Ok thanks for the heads up. I haven't been able to yet, but I was going to try and sign out of my psn account while playing offline to see if that makes any difference.

I notice it with runners on base, when I'm pitching, particularly with certain camera angles. I think it's Pitcher 2, the one where both the pitcher and the batter are zoomed in tight, and you can see the first few rows of fans up top. When runners are on, it's choppy as hell. Not even worth playing it like that.
