The Mariners are getting screwed. Give up a pretty close to a stud prospect in Ackley for a pitcher who's out for the year and maybe more (Luebke) and a closer who isn't all that much better than Derrick Turnbow (Walden).

Well keep in mind this is 2K and is a game so Luebke isn't hurt and is only 26 years old, and Walden is a 24 year old 5 star closer.

I'm trying to make sure this trade is as fair as it gets for every team so I want some of your opinions on what teams needs a better deal.

Red Sox got ripped off. You got a downgrade at OF, a mediocre(at best) catcher, and a decent starting pitcher in exchange for a 5* 3B prospect. Yu lose.

Luebke being hurt in real life doesn't make this trade bad. Your logic is flawed by the fact you cannot make a distinction between real life and a video game.

the original post says they are using updated rosters which, to me, would imply that Leubke would be injured after all (or at least put in the minor leagues to simulate such an injury.)
