What I miss most in this game...

The one thing I miss most in this game is being able to put players out with an injury. I very much dislike playing against players that are either out for months or the season. They should have allowed the user to put players on the DL.

The other thing I miss most, and this is technically tied for first, is being able to see the pitch speeds of the pitcher in and coming in the game. I mean, before a pitch is thrown, pitch types and speeds.

From what it sounds like, you are playing on pro, if you play on rookie you will see it. What I miss most is this guy:

I also miss the old yankee stadium and all those old stadiums they included in MLB 2k7 and 2k8. I sort of miss Shea stadium, but not completely.

I think that Griffey is still on the disk and if I could get someone to hex edit him in, it would be huge. The problem is, nobody has ever hexed MLB before, but I found that Pettitte was unlocked so they didn't take him off the disk so they probably have Troy Glaus, david eckstein, and I am hoping they have Ken Griffey Jr.

How do you see pitch types and speeds before pitcher throws the ball? I don't mean the previous pitch or after the pitch is thrown.

Pause the game and look at his player card? I'm confused by your DL comment. The Living Roster has players placed on the DL and players are injured during Franchise (although everybody is healthy at the start of the year). What mode are you playing against Jason Werth and Mariano Rivera?

I mean the pitcher tips what pitch he is about to throw right before he throws it if you play on rookie. I usually play on pro but sometimes if I am getting whooped, I will put it on rookie.

What I mean about the DL is being able to put guys out with an injury. I don't like playing against players who in real life are out for the season, or for months. I am talking Franchise mode with default roster.

There should be an easier way to see pitch speeds, such as it being shown on same page as pitch types.

I was hoping they'd store real life injuries and then generate them in Franchise most of the time (with the Living Roster updating these). Could run into issues like the pitchers not throwing on the day they're injured in real life however. You could always control all teams and throw the players you want out of the game into the minors/edit them to crappy ratings.
