I play on legend. I can't steal bases. Even when I steal with guys with 90+ speed, I get thrown out. Is there a certain technique in order to steal bases or should I just fix my sliders?

I have user baserunning speed on 55 with CPU catcher arm and accuracy both at 50 and so far it's been better but that's only after one game so that's not much to go on. But we're in the same boat, I'm having trouble stealing bases in this game too even with guys who are 85+ speed. -

I have it set to 60 base running speed and I can steal 90% of the time and even 3rd base. So 55 might be the magic number for a more realistic average.Comment

Part of it is the settings, but part of it is getting a really good jump. It helps if you can time it so that you start running a half second before the pitcher starts to throw. Occasionally the pitcher decides to take extra long to begin his throwing motion and I get tossed out that way, but I never get thrown out by the catcher.Comment
