    Inside Edge: Own Team?

    Hey everyone,

I just bought the inside edge report for my own team in franchise mode. What does this unlock? I bought it assuming i could see all my hitters hot spots at bat? Is this false?

I'm a little puzzled... You bought it, so why don't you check it out and tell us if you can see your players' hot zones or not? I wouldn't know because I never use the IE info, it feels like a cheat to me.

You see your own batters hot/cold zones when you have the IE report for the pitcher on the team YOURE PLAYING. So you dont need to buy IE reports on your own team to get to see that. As long as you have the indicator on in the presentation settings, and you own the IE report for the team youre playing you should see the red and blue boxes for your own batters on every pitch.

        I know I do.

So to answer your question I dont think buying the IE reports for your own teams does anything... except waste money...

Maybe it's different in 2K12, but in 2K11 I don't see the hot/cold zones when batting. I have IE purchased for the other team, hot/cold zones set to show for All Pitches, Strike Zone on, and I even bought IE for my team.

What buying it for your team does is via Player Card you can see pitch type success and hot/cold zones in his Player Card, and other data.

Im not sure how it was in 2K11. But in my Twins Franchise in 2K12 I see my own batters hot/cold zones when I come up to bat. But they're not there the whole time.. they dissapear before the other teams pitcher begins his delivery.

Do you have IE/hot & cold zones for all pitches? The default is for first pitch only.

I have it set for all pitches but it doesn't show at all in 2K11. When pitching I can see IE for teams I've subscribed to, but not for me when batting.
