The most effective 1 player pitch

I just traded Tim Hudson (pending Free agency and no money to sign him) for Kazuhisha Ishii (signed cheaply for 3 years).

Kaz's stamina lets him down but the CPU hitters cant touch his curveball even when he is tired. He is now my most effective pitcher for playing (but not simming). He has a postseason ERA of 2 and is averaging 14 K's per game - they just cant get near the guy.

What other pitches / pitchers do people really like ?

Without a doubt the down and in (to rights) / out (to lefties) sinker. Of course the large breaking down and in is always nice. The 2 seam fastball is also a nice pitch to fool them with inside... oh wait there is no 2 seamer..

since you hate ESPN World Series Baseball so much why don't you leave, and post in MVP Baseball. If you want to give suggestions, you can put them in the SUGGESTIONS THREAD. Besides the cut fastball is close enough to a 2 seamer.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I'm not going to discuss baseball with somebody who thinks a cutter is "close enough to a 2 seamer." I will however, discuss the fact that this wasn't a suggestion and I have the right to complain. The game is good but by far not realistic in the pitching department. If you can't handle my realistic views of the game, maybe it's you who should go to another board. This is a place where people can discuss their opinion, and therefore I've committed no crime. Just because I dislike features in the game doesn't mean I hate the game all together. Hell, I just finished another World Champion winning season with my Cubs.

Maybe that's a sign that ESPN Baseball has a lot to fix in order to be a near perfect game. It doesn't matter how you spin it, there's no excuse to neglect things such as various pitches or credible batting animations.
