I like baseball too much to leave out one. I feel really bad that MLB 2004 didn't come out for the Xbox; their spring training feature seemed really cool.

I just traded Tim Hudson (pending Free agency and no money to sign him) for Kazuhisha Ishii (signed cheaply for 3 years).

Kaz's stamina lets him down but the CPU hitters cant touch his curveball even when he is tired. He is now my most effective pitcher for playing (but not simming). He has a postseason ERA of 2 and is averaging 14 K's per game - they just cant get near the guy.

What other pitches / pitchers do people really like ?

Ben Sheets has a "killer" curveball in this game. If you barely tap the pitch button, after selecting the pitch, he (Sheets) will throw a huge, sweeping curveball that will bottom-out. The CPU hitters can't touch it, even with their batter's rating jacked up to 100. He doesn't have much stamina though, so after 5 or 6 innings, you have to pick your spots for the curveballs - he will miss when fatigued and give up some HRs with the curve. I signed Sheets off the free-agency list to save money and he has turned out to be my best pitcher - 28 starts, 22-4, 1.96 ERA and 220 K's - plus, he made the All-Star team.

Tapping the pitch button doesn't change it's velocity or movement...?
