    My Player Randomly Retired

    Hey guys,

So im playing MLB 2K12 for the PC and was deep into my career as a closer (2026).
I spent 10 years with the Rays and won the World Series in 2016. however they werent winning anymore so i had myself traded to the Twins.
My player was 89 Overall 3rd best in the Organization. I was a 6 time all star and won reliver of the year 8 times.
The reason I say WAS is because yesterday after I finished the 2026 season, in which we went to the ALCS. My player retired.

    Reasons I find this weird:
    -I was only 31, Mariano is 42
    -I had 538 career saves with a 0.85 ERA
    - I had made the All Star team that season led in saves and won reliever of the year
-I was the 3rd overall player on the team
-My contract expired that season but I was resigned to a 3 year deal
-I was 89 overall but I was improving, that wasnt a decline
    - lastly, I had my best season stats wise ever, 2-0 55/57 saves 83 Ks 0.42 ERA

So basically, what the hell happened?

Probably some glitch, I've never heard of this before.

Might not be a glitch, In 2k10 and 2k11, Your player would retire in a preset year. I'm not sure if it's the same case for 2k12 though.
