Can I create players in Frachise?

I am playing a franchise with the tigers and I wanted to add a couple of the players that they have now that I don't have in my franchise. Berry and Garcia. I don't want to start over so am I able to create players in the middle of my franchise or do I have to edit other players into these guys? I know if I edited other players into them, I wouldn't be able to change their faces.

Bottom line: NO.
You can take a fake player, say at AA level and edit them to be the player you want to create or go to Free Agents and do that. But you cannot create a player from scratch in Franchise. You must do that in the roster you are going to use in your franchise BEFORE setting up your franchise. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the response. I figured I would have to edit minor leaguers into the players I want.
