Some MLB 2K13 Features Revealed, First Screenshot Included

GameStop has posted some of the MLB 2K13 features, which are very similar to those seen in MLB 2K12. Let's hope some upcoming Developer Diaries (if there are any) reveal more details.

If this is legit, I already see a issue with the uniform colors with the Tampa Bay Rays already. It's too light blue from the screenshot. As far as features goes, I'm not looking for too much innovation. I just want 2k too fix the glitches that plagued 2k12. If they achieve this and get the uniform colors correct, I'm more than happy.

I haven't liked the visual style of this game since 2009. Other than the screenshot, there's really nothin' to comment on.

Considering 2k already has the best pitcher/batter interface plus "stats" (which should be standard in all baseball games but unfortunately isn't), all they really need to do is clean the game up in a few spots and add the new divisional alignment and i'll be more than happy.

Considering 2k already has the best pitcher/batter interface plus "stats" (which should be standard in all baseball games but unfortunately isn't), all they really need to do is clean the game up in a few spots and add the new divisional alignment and i'll be more than happy.

Wow, from that "features" list, it looks like it's going to be the same game from last year, with updated rosters. If they charge 60 dollars for this, Take Two should be ashamed.

lol, I'm always curious to see what this game puts out but i'm just glad I own a PS3 so I can get MLB the Show. My decision each year is whether to buy The Show or hold off a year and keep playing the current version of The Show since i can never finish a season in one real calender year. One thing I do remember about MLB 2k the last version i got, i think MLB 2k7, was that I could almost hit home runs at will. I think I was just past the halfway point in the season and was at 60 home runs with A-Rod.

LOL..good point.

We can talk about the Madden series, MLB the SHOW, NCAA...etc, about roster updates each year and minimal innovation. So it's nothing new, we not looking for perfection here, just the basic fundamentals of the sport and done well. If MLB2k13 is similar too MLB2k12, but the glitches are fixed and uniforms done correctly, I'm fine with it. The game is just fun too play and I enjoy the battles at the plate along with the dynamic ratings. Not too mention the presentation and commentary is top notch, so hopefully they improve on those things the community complained about last year.

If this year's game is just a roster update with tightened up gameplay and realignment, I might pick it up for the right price. Baseball is my favorite sport and is my favorite sports game to play, but I can't see myself spending more than $30 though.

How are we not talking about this tidbit!! This makes me interested in a game I have not been interested in, in a long time! Im curious any speculation??
