Their blogs were great last year. It still drew negative responses. Every time they release a video it is time for the trolls to come in and repeat what we all already knew.

If every time they release a video the Youtube, Facebook, and forum comments go go crazy bashing the game, how is releasing a video smart PR?

Mt Oread, it's mostly because what they release isn't what anybody wants to hear. Not with regards to the actual improvement that was made, but the thing that was spoken of. But make no mistake... their in-depth blogs are phenomenal, and make this game become a great on-paper experience. You can tell that it's not just monkeys working at their studios. They have incredible talent and enthusiasm, but are sometimes poorly managed and don't highlight their top points very well, at least not to the OS crowd.
I didn't think he meant previous years ...considering he only joined the site in November.

...and there is PLENTY of trolling to go around....on both sides.

On the topic....the info will come when the info comes. Plain and simple.

Ah, didn't see that. However, he could have been an unregsitered viewer for a while.

I am a 2K fan dating back to the Dreamcast. But marketing has never been thier specialty. Even in thier hey-day of the mid 2000's. No company has offered as many cool features fly under the radar as 2K games.

This year all their cool ideas are being gobbled up by other company's who are calling them "new" features.

I have ZERO problems with this. Sony has MLB today based on what 2K had. That is great for baseball video game fans! I wish they would steal hitter's eye too! I wish MLB2K would steal the animations and bat-ball physics from the Show. I'm glad NBA2K13 stole the r-stick dribbles from Live. I hope Madden steals the weekly wrap up show from 2K5 and steals in-game saves as well for whomever we give that credit too.

My point is that every game out there does some good and some bad. Putting all the good feature in one game would be great and when a developer does add a great feature I applaud it rather than complain about the source of inspiration.
