After reading the very limited info on 2k13, I am thinking of canceling my pre-order.
I have a PS3, and have regularly purchased both games, but 2k only on PC. I tried one year having both on PS3, and it was pretty difficult switching back and forth, timing-wise mostly.
This year, since a PC version is not available, I pre-ordered 2k13. Now I am having second thoughts. Why?
1. Money. $60 dollars is a lot for a roster update and league realignment.
2. I am having a difficult time rewarding a company, with my money, that obviously doesn't give a crap about their customers. There is hardly any info on this game beyond, a cut and paste from last year and that during the 2012 season, 2k basically quit midway through. No support with the mlb today feature that stopped working after the all-star break.
3. I hate to admit this, but reading these forums also have an influence with this decision. There is a lot of negativiy that makes me wonder why would I consider buying a product that was thrown together at the last minute. I don't believe the opinion that 2k was secretly working on this before the announcement. I totally understand the xbox owner reasons to purchase 2k13, but for a PS3 owner such as myself, its like buying two cars...a Ford Mustang GT and a Toyota Prius. Both good cars, but I would rather drive the Mustang. I'll leave it up to you to figure out which game is the Mustang.
There are good things with 2k (the game) that I enjoy. Pitching and commentary and it is fun to play.
I dont know....
