Mike
No offense, but if you are talking about Franchise features(which this thread is) than High Heat had the WORST franchise mode of all the games out there. I loved HH for it's gameplay, but with players constantly getting cut. Free agents never being signed. Truly poor minor development and horrendous GM AI(trades, lineups..etc.) High Heat was virtually unbplayable in Franchise(career) mode.
M.K.All gave some. Some gave all. 343Comment

Re: Most important things needed in franchise
O.K.
MAJOR: Multi-player Franchise. This was the one thing that held it back IMO from being the best last year. MLB is moving up and they have it.
Minor: Other than the above, copy ASB' franchise (without the glitches). They really did a nice job. Also, LT/RT stat tracking to go with the attribute splits.
In last year's game it was to easy to get the guys you wanted. Every once in a while someone would refuse but not often enough. So I think more tangible factors (other than money) that motivate players decisions. Hell, I'm a die hard M's fan. How'bout the now cliche,"I want to be closer to home."
Oh, how about more detailed fielding stats? Seasonal fielding stat tracking. For that matter, having bad Def. be more of a factor in sims.Comment

Re: Most important things needed in franchise
i want a cleaner interface. it was way to tedious surfing around through stats and standings, with last years version. ESPN CH has really clean menu's and display the stats very well. hopefully that bleeds on over to the baseball game.Comment
