LOL I'm just curious on how many OS'ers out there have it on the competitions console haha But I picked it up only bc I needed NBA 2k so I seen the combo pack and figure why not I never get baseball games anyways!

I own it. I love the pitching in 2k. its also a breath of fresh air from the long pain staking struggle of the other game, which i also purchased. In a perfect world both these games would amazing contnders for sports game of the year.We play today, we win today, das it!-

I have owned the other game for several years, and always find myself going back and forth between each game for the year. I would recommend MLB 2K13 as the commentary is outstanding and game play is very fun. You won't be sorry that you own both.Comment

I'm on PS3, although I don't play online. As far as whether to purchase it or not, if you've been only playing the Show and have been playing it for years religiously, you'll find 2k13 radically different.
If you're like many people, you'll gravitate back to what you are comfortable/familiar with. Just a suggestion but I'd rent it or see if there is still a demo on PSN for 2k10,11, etc. to get an idea of the basic differences. Either way, decide ahead of time to play more than one game before making a purchase decision. I find it much more fun to play than the other title. However, it's also what I'm used to.

Anyone able to give comparisons between the PS3 and 360 versions?
I own both systems, but my kids have essentially taken over my 360, haha.
2K's always seemed to support the 360 better and with mkharsh and bretkzy's rosters, it would make the 360 an easy choice of the two.
But then I'd have to drag the 360 to my nice TV everytime I wanted to play. And I'm very lazy.

I got it on launch day, then I saw it was the same game as 2K12, virtually. So I returned it and got store credit.
And I agree with the other guy, The Show needs to rip 2K's pitching.. I love the 2K pitching.Boston Celtics
