More than anything, I'm pretty sure the ability to make good contact is tied to:

    pitch count
location of pitch being swung at
    timing of swing
pitcher hitting his spot or not
    current batter's hot spots
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

The absolute key to power hitting. Don't pull the stick all the way back, and don't push it all the way forward. All you have to do is break the middle plane both ways.

Do you guys use the left stick at all such as pressing up to hit a fly ball with your power swing? I tend to always pull the ball by pressing up and to the direction of my player. I will usually sit on pitches to the outside zone. Don't think I've ever hit an oppo home run (and prob never will).

Really? I have found it way more difficult to pull the ball when power swinging. I've only just begun playing the last month or so but nearly ALL my homeruns are to opposite field. I also find that I am a lot better hitting with left handed players
