I think they took it from World Series Baseball 2K1... it looks the EXACT same actually.Comment

Re: New screens and movie at ESPNvideogames.com!
Finally saw the video, and surprise surprise, McFluffin, I could tell quite a bit of difference from last year's game.
The only thing that looked exactly the same to me were the replays (not a big deal at all).
The main thing I saw that I thought was cool was the "charisma" meter or whatever for the pitchers. In the trailer, Kerry Wood gave up a bomb, and it showed his charisma meter go down quite a bit. This could be pretty cool if Blue Shift implements it properly. The meter going down should cause the pitcher to get rattled and lose some control, which I am sure is the whole point behind the idea.
And, yes, the fields do look quite a bit bigger and definitely more proportionate to the player sizes.
Looks good so far.Comment

Hey, I just thought of something... this will now be perfect for mound visits. It will raise your "momentum meter" (that's what it's called).
Glad you could see a difference, and yet, make a difference.Comment

Re: New screens and movie at ESPNvideogames.com!
Oh wait, there was probably one that no one payed attention to yet.
I just noticed that in the movie, it shows that the left fielder for the Giants is some switch hitter (righty thrower) named J. Young. And the only possible J. Young that it could be is righty (right batter also) Jason Young, pitcher for Colorado. So I'm assuming that that is the name of Bonds this year. I guess everything else about him on this game is unknown though.Comment

Re: New screens and movie at ESPNvideogames.com!
Just found out something else quite ODD about the clip.
When the Cubs center fielder goes up to try to rob the homerun, I notice that the numbers on the back of the jersey are red. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the only red in the back of the jersey the outlining? May this be a mistake? A new jersey? because in a sense it reminded me of Minnesota's jersey in last year's game, but then I'm like, "That's not Torii Hunter."
Weird, eh?Comment
