Re: New screens and movie at ESPNvideogames.com!

I think some people expect a completely new engine in every baseball game every year. That only happens once every five years or so. If that.

Mostly it's about modifying the same engine... which just means tweaks and additions of various size & scope. Odds are that if you're really disappointed in a baseball game, the follow-up isn't going to blow you away.

But you never know. I didn't really like ASB03 at all, and ASB04 was amazing. That's pretty rare, though.

Play ESPN fantasy games. Create or join a fantasy league. Use the ESPN Draft kit, read fantasy blogs, watch video, or listen to ESPN fantasy podcasts.

That's the latest video that we are talking about... you will need the latest version of Quicktime, Windows Media Player, or RealOne Player.

Frankly, I think that the last thing that they can do with graphics (graphics itself, not animations with graphics) is that if they add muscle tone, or if they make the jerseys move (now THAT would be a reason to buy a baseball game... that would just be beautiful).

I think that mainly one of the reasons why people said that WSB 2K3 looked so stiff is probably because there are all of those wrinkles in the jerseys and they do nothing. I love the self-shadowing though, and I can only pray that they have it for the PS2 version this year (I mean come on, they had it for the Dreamcast version...).

Looks good. Especially the faces this year. I loved last year's version but my White Sox franchise died on me after 90 games or so. Hope they have the new renovations of U.S. Cellular field in the game!!

It died on you because you chose that? Or did the same thing happen to me where it kept on freezing?

Don't worry... I'd expect all stadium updates to be in (don't expect too much from the new Padres' and Phillies' stadiums, because they take virtual views and the most simplistic and generic feeling of the stadium).
