The hitting in WSB was the worst of any baseball game last year. It looked as though batters were hitting a 10 pound baseball. I hope that at least they improve that.

WSB was one of the prettiest games out there. It was the first baseball game I bought last year. I had a lot of fun with it until I tried out the other games. That's when I noticed the poor swing animation and ball physics. And judging from the trailers they have released....I don't think they have done anything about the swing.

If you notice as much as I do, then you'll notice that the swing that everybody uses in that movie is a swing unlike one that we have seen before. This one IMO looks like it feels bigger on the batters, as when they swing, their arms get extended a little more because of the weight of the bat, and it takes longer for their "back swing" to take place.

I'm not saying that this is for the better or for the worse, all that I'm saying is that it's not the same swing as last year's swing/s, so you can't say that it is.

I hated that most of my homeruns were opposite field. Most of the time it looked like my batter was swinging to the ground.

I agree with my fellow Cub fan (kotter). I don't think the game needs a major overhaul either. The few little things that will dramatically help would be:

                        player scaling
swing animations--they need more signature swing animations from real major leaugers.
fix the throws from the outfield
more hit types-I can't recall seeing any of those slicing or hooking line drives that occur all game long. This game was the worst in this aspect.

I don't think those changes would require a major overhaul. Throw in these changes with K-Zone pitching, momentum meters, and first person baseball and this will be a great title.

All I want is a realistic one-handed swing and I'm happy (for the swing animations aspect).
