    Re: Dynamic Weather?

The only reason I would want non-baseball weather (rain - sleet & snow for us in the midwest ) would be for the ballparks that have retractable roofs... I want Miller Park's roof opened and closed as the game is different under each circumstance... does anyone know if any of the games will have the retractable roofs opened sometimes and closed others?

Yeah, that was the upside to All Star Baseball 2004 last year in terms of rain, as they did indeed do this for all of the ones with retractible roofs... even the future stadiums that they had in there.

            Re: Dynamic Weather?

I remember in a preview for one of the older DC versions they actually talked about dealing with National Weather Service data to determine the weather for each individual city.

I know it's not a "crucial" feature, but it does add some variety. Dynamic weather and lighting could go a long way toward making the environment seem more "alive" along with actually improving gameplay. (Which would be welcome when playing a 162-game season!)

I think something like this would be easy to put in the game. All they would have to do is make an animation showing the roof is closing and add some commentary or something to go along with it. Like take an Intermission to close the roof. Or something.
