How often do Dynamic Player Ratings (DPR) Generate?

I know that the DPR includes the last four-week performances for every player, but does the DPR HAVE to adjust to every player's performance or does it only generate if their performances are very good and very bad?

FYI: I am in the second week of my May schedule with the Royals (I have played EVERY game so far) and have hit very well with Alex Gordon, Billy Butler, and Mike Moustakas; I have also hit poorly with Alcides Escobar and Jeff Francoeur (go figure). Pitching-wise, I have spectacular stats with all my starting pitchers (Shields, Duffy, Santana, and Wade) except for Felipe Paulino. Considering all that, there have been no ratings changes for MY players or any A.I.-controlled players. Since DPR was introduced, I've notice players' ratings change towards in mid-late April, but so far that hasn't happened. Is this a possible glitch or is it still too early in the season for the computer to tally the last four-week performances?

I'm towards the end of May and there have been no changes in ANY player ratings controlled by me or the computer. I remember when I played past games, I did not play every game, usually simming about half of each month, but the ratings would change now. This year, I have played every game so far but the ratings have not changed. I'm beginning to think DPR only generates if you sim games...

Some of my players' ratings have finally changed in the last week of May. Alex Gordon, Billy Butler, Mike Moustakas, Eric Hosmer, James Shields, Wade Davis, and Ervin Santana are all on hot streaks.

First of all, when I go to my schedule to play the next game, I choose 'Simulate to Game' and NOT 'Play Game'. I chose 'Play Game' for the first month and a half and there were no rating changes; however, since I started choosing 'Simulate', it seems to have calculated their previous 4-week performance.

Second, after you play your game, the ratings for your players will disappear. You can 'Simulate' to the next game you want to play (don't worry if the ratings are still not there). Back out to the main menu, reload your franchise, and the ratings should be back.
