This is a total bunch of B.S. and it should be a major issue with Sega (much bigger issues than the k zone,additinal batting stances,player animations and so on... ) they havent learned how it also ruined the last 2yrs of the NFL series online! I'm sorry but as we have been asking for it in football it should be a mandatory patch when logging into the games and its as simple as that WTF is going on with segas decisions on priorites? The last 2 yrs of online fball have been a joke when players were hurt for the season before game 1 (pennington/vick) yet we had to play with them all yr Hahahahahaha what a big joke sega.I dont want to here they didnt have time to implement because of time constraints they have had 2+yrs with fball to figure out how to do it!!!!!!!!!

sounds like the maddux, arod, and puge situations have ruined this game for a lot of people. that's too bad something so easy to fix can be overlooked. i wonder if FP addressed this?

I just dont understand it player movement in baseball is as comon as a fastball how can this not be addresed for online play.Patches to enhance competition and fix problems are why you play games online.I want to play and beat the people online who play the yankees etc.(with proper and current rosters) with my red sox.The online baseball experiance will be ruined for me if I have to pitch to boone a guy who will never put on pinestripes again. And just think this is months away from opening day,come to think about it before I even open 2k4 it will be outdated and ready to trade in to EB for 2k5 That is just unacceptable.A am a very displeased ESPN fan (Fball,Bball and Baseball in regards to this issue wich has been going on for 2yrs now)..i hope some of you others show your displeasure by posting your thoughts to them.

I was thinking the same thing ;-) It's amazing how naive and blind some people are. They really have no clue as to why MVP 2004 is going to blow ESPN Baseball out of the water this year. And, this is coming from one who thought that WSB 2K3 was the best product last year !

Well If the Xbox version had Online play and let you play with updated rosters then absolutely 2K4 would be doomed. Without it it's not such a deal killer. That being said I'm gonna get MVP just because the Developers did the most they can do to improve and update the game. 2K4 really just looked tweaked in comparision. I was gonna find a used version to play online with but if the rosters are pre opening day, what's the point.
