Who's marketing this game (see link inside) . . .

It happened with ESPN NFL2K4! It's now happening with ESPN MLB2K4.

EA's products are showing up all over ESPN! Case in point the link below:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...simmons/040217

It's an article on ESPN's website written about A-Rod. Take a look at the picture accompanying the article. It's EA's just recently released pic in MVP2004!

WAKE UP VC/SEGA! You guys are asleep at the wheel . . . AGAIN!

          Sure it does.

ESPN gets advertising for having their logo all over the place in the ESPN game. They also get MONEY from EA for advertising on their website/channel.

I really dont think that EA gave ESPN any money to have that picture in the Simmons article. They needed the EA logo in the bottom of the screen so they dont get sued for putting copyrighted pictures on their website. Simmons has been writing for several years, and has a fairly large following, I'd be shocked if even 25% of people who saw that article even took the time to see the EA sports logo in the bottom and then make the connection between that and MVP baseball. This is nothing new anyways, starting in June Simmons will make a Madden reference atleast once an article and then write a whole column on it right before or after it comes out.
