Low Catcher camera angle too low?

I bought WSB 2K3 but for some reason, I had a real perspective problem using the lowest camera angle when batting. It seemed that the low camera angle is really on the catcher's eye level, instead of on the batter's eye level.

This really made hitting difficult for me. I couldn't judge balls and strikes - thankfully there was that pitch trajectory tracker to view the last pitch to see where the ball actually went.

It looks like this perspective is back for ESPN this year. Anyone else have a problem like this with WSB 2k3?
