I never played last yrs version, so playing the demo gave me a better sense & idea of what to
expect with 2k4. While the demo version was not the greatest, it did help me decide to try my chance @ the game.
I have bought games in the past after playing a quick early demo version of it on past OXM Discs. One was Splinter Cell & the most recent was TOP Spin, both turned out great & both were great games.
I hope in the future, your staff will continue to release games on the OXM Demos for us gamers to play, b/c it allows us to get a better feel for the game as oppose to just reading early reveiws in Mags. Personal hands on gameplay & experience is much better, than another persons opinion & review of a game, since we all individually tend to look for different things in games.
Maybe what you guys should do is have the OXM Demo clearly state on the cover that this version is a very early build & some features may not be in the demo version that will ultimately be in the final game, so as to not have people taking the demo version as the final finished product.
Thanks again, peace!
