I went with 2k12 because I felt it was easier to get updated rosters and more people were playing it.

I was playing 2k12, but lately it freezes are start up whether I am connected to the world wide web or not, also no matter the date on my computer. I think I'm about to officially retire it.

I think fundamentally they play very similar to each other but mlb 2k12 is more refined. I still play 2k11 and I found a decent 2013 roster update on 2k share.

You think you still might have it and could make an offline file ?

I like all 3. I know there are no roster updates for 11 but there are so many more camera options that alone puts it at the top for me. Seems to be a little less glitchy on the field too. For pick up and play it is a lot of fun.
