I would have bought it anyway, but it's a nice bonus that it is $39.99.
No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?

I think it might be a mistake for the larger market. You know how when you go in to Fry's (or EB or whatever) and you look at the shelf and there are 15 baseball titles with all sorts of dates and prices? 99% of the time, the most recent ones are the highest priced ones. The crappier ones are the discounted ones. You know two months in which game sucks cause its already $20. I'm thinkin its gonna look like MVP is the only title that can hold its value, and it'll look like the other titles are discounted already so the casual gamer might figure that they must suck. Could backfire on ASB/ESPN.

That's one way to look at it but don't forget all the parents/girlfriends and such that want to get the cheapest of the new games. But I don't put that much thought into it. All that matters to me is that the game i'm getting is ten bucks cheaper and that can never be a bad thing.

A lot of games release at a $39.99 pricepoint nowadays. I don't think it's at all a reflection of the quality of a game. In fact, if I there's a game I want that is $40 and another one that is $50, I'll take the $40 game and wait until the $50 game goes down in price. Just my preference.

Man you have your own opinion and I'm glad you gave your points..that's what this forum is for..Thanks...I disagree in away...I think Segas thinking is that more people would buy a game that is 10 bucks cheaper therefore Get them to actually play there game...See alot of people don't give sega the time of day because of the Ea name and the extra modes they put in....And then there are also alot of people that buy 2 and 3 games...So they have a choice of a second game, well Segas hopes are that the 10 bucks savings would get them the sale...Well truthfully we never really know what is behind it but I wouldn't say it's a crappy game in some instances...Sega definately put some gameplay effort to a already great wsb2k3 in terms of gameplay...Well Later
