Questions/Problems about MLB 2K13

- Is there any way to change a players position? Real or Edited , I can’t see an option. Lots of players play different positions from what they are stuck at… Also, can’t seem to change a pitcher from Starting or Relief & vice versa. Being able to make a guy Right or Left handed and even change the looks should be allowed as well.

- Something annoying, is there not a way or place to see the ratings of a guy I am editing? I like to make my prospects a certain overall rating (say 65 4* for a solid guy). Instead I have to get in and out of editing a few times to get it right. I can’t think of any other game where it doesn’t tell you the guys overall rating while editing him.

- And why do a lot of young players with high/pretty high potential not really go up in their prime?

- Can you edit rookies in Franchise mode? Why can I not seem to be able to change the names of the fake generated rookies I draft, but can edit the fake prospects before I start?

- Turn off Autosave in Franchise mode. Super Annoying if just trying to sub my roster having it save several times without me finishing.

- Also, for some reason in my Franchise sometimes it switches my lineups even though I have it set for me to do it. I’m playing a rookie catcher who is rated lower and he seems to get switched out, beside Bautista subbing in for my 3rd baseman and so on…

- I found out you can only Create 50 players. Just wanted to mention another thing that doesn’t make sense…

Not sure about the other stuff. But you can cheat the auto save by removing your flash drive (I save on a flash drive) when in that mode. It will know you removed it and will say something like "your storage was removed autosave has been turned off"

Ok, so I need to move my franchise to my flashdrive, then after loading take it out. After that it won't autosave (is that only until I quit that time. Which I will need to replace the flash drive if I want to save)?

Another Question:

How do you make fix the game so that teams get hits?

I'm 3-0, but in my 3 games, only 1 team has had 5 hits in a game (also averaging a couple of runs a game, combined). I could up power, but I just want some singles for both teams (I've slowed the Infield & Outfield run speeds way down).

as for editing guys positions, there is a section in the editing that you can adjust the players ability at each position. it lists his aptitude at each defensive position with a rating of 0-100.

i like this feature a lot. you can have utility guys like zobrist.

i will pop the game in to have answers to your other questions later.

i do think under settings that there is a way to change auto save.

as for not seeing a players rating while making adjustments, you are going to have to deal with it. i too was a little frustrated with it. but after you start adjusting a few guys here and there you can kind of predict it.

as for auto subbing, the game will move guys around when you sim a few games here and there. this is something i went back and forth on until i realized the show, which i have, doesnt change players at all and you end up with guys who are utterly exhausted after simming several games.

if you get injuries, just make sure to check things out here and there.

for some reason, 2k limits some players you can edit. more and more companies do this for some reason. ea's nhl franchise did the same to me a while back. i love to change my future players to my friends and it is frustrating when you can't.
