Can I propose another look at this?

FatPitcher got upset that MVP got a good review. FatPitcher got upset that the game he QAs is getting no-so-great impressions. FatPitcher realized that OS is brutally honest, and won't extend credit because we've enjoyed past efforts. FatPitcher slandered a site that has been known for years as an impartial source of news and reviews.

Do I need to remind anyone that FatPitcher works for Sega? You joke that EA has paid off OS ..... Sega literally pays off FatPitcher. Weekly.

Which is cool. That's his job, and his inside information is invaluable. But let's not pretend he's in any way impartial.

This is very interesting because in six months when madden comes out with the same game it has given us for the last three years your going to be reading Madden once again great game now you can use the rihgt and left trigger for some crap,give it a name with a fancy ring to it and walla 9.4 great game must buy.

(b) If Madden is a 9.4 this year and they don't do anything to regress, what should they be scored?

(c) Reviews are opinions. They are going to be different site to site or even Staffer to Staffer. Likes and dislikes aren't black and white.

Very interesting, taking these comments into consideration then ESPN MLB should get no lower than a 93 consider that's what WSB2K3 received last year from OS and since the didn't change much with the gameplay and added a few extra features, going buy these comments ESPNMLB should get at least a 94.

Clay Quick question.... When someone reviews a copy, Is it reviewed compared to other games or is it reviewed On how much a game has Added?? I was just curious cause when you said Unless it regressed Do you base this on Espn being the Same hitting/Pitching almost as last year or the modes hasn't been what they could've been Or the Fielding has stayed the same ?? Cause to me if a Game gets a 85 last year and The game is just boxed in a new package just adding some little presentation Shouldn't the game get the same review?/ I think people are just curious on the Previews they say it's not a good game..What are they Going By???Thanks for your time guys...

I can only speak for myself. I try to review each year on its own merit, but I think you can't help but compare it to the previous version. I try very hard not to compare it to the other titles in the genre unless I am reviewing all of them. For example, I did all of the Hockey reviews this year, because of that, I factored how they stacked up into the score.

Hey Radja, I was just asking a question on why they haven't given us impressions...But you know what they Answered them ...I have praised them numerous times and asked questions of what I wanted to find out..It's simple...This is by far the best game message board...
