I said in another post maybe they are making sure the "on-line" functions are working correctly? Because it's their first attempt at having "on-line" capabilities across all platforms. My other guess would be they are trying to perfect all of the possible "first person" camera views? Take that into account and add the fact that there is the "action cam" there is probally alot of varibles that they didn't count on? They wanted to make sure that the game plays right no matter what camera your in. Actually, I don't play on-line nore do I care for the camera views? I thought it was very hard to use in football so I stayed away. What I wish these baseball games would offer because none of the games have this feature this year would to offer two or more people being permitted to participate in a franchise/career mode. Two seperate users having their own control of each of their teams, during the same fanchise/dynasty. Somethings like the football have. Heck some of the football games allowed you to take all the teams if you wanted to! One of the designers said that this was difficult to do because (I don't remember what he said exactly). If you guys can do it for football damn it why not here? Sounds like laziness?

Across all platforms? There's 4 platforms (PC, PS2, Xbox, and GC), and it's only coming out on 2. Secondly they've put out online games on these 2 platforms many times in the past.
This sounds like a bug fix to a problem found during MS or Sony approval.
