Hopefully this one stays on topic, whatever that is...

Anyway, i'd like to discuss throwing in the outfield. From ESPN's website:

"Boost your fielding defense with a turbo boost to get to the ball faster or to make a faster throw to a base. The baseball feel isn’t complete without mound visits, broken bats, on-deck cut scenes, and much more."

So if i got this right, not only does your OF throw harder according to how long you hold the throw button, but you can modify it with the turbo boost button? Or is it that you throw harder if you get a running-turbo-boost-start before you let it go? Speculations?

There must be some sort of tradeoff, like ESPN Football's turbo/power button. Not sure what it could be, though. Maybe using it with a throw allows it to be released immediately, but with less power?

I believe it could be used as a speed burst (so your guy is going the full 100% that NO ONE ever goes on the field because they're too lazy), or to better improve your leap, dive, or throw. Unfortunately, you can only use it once per play. When I say that, I mean it like once you use it, you can't use it again, not for ANYBODY else, even if you switch players. I think it's like that.

That's the way I took it. You use it to run faster or throw harder on any particular play. But you can only do one or the other.

i think we'll like the turbo boost

as for the power swing, MVP has one too, they just don't call it that, but when you hold up that is usually a power swing

i think the fielding in this game will be bar none. mvp's pitching is great, but the fielding is so bad it can ruin it
